“How the West Was Won”.

Ten layers of paint with personal ephemera, satellite photos of the family ranch, my own childhood drawings embedded in each layer. A painting is not like a photograph that captures one moment in time. There is a history of the maker that builds until the painting says, “okay, I’m done for now”.
